MLNC
guarantees the quality of cataloging performed by library
professionals via OCLC’s Connexion interface to set your
holdings on those hidden collections and enable discovery in
WorldCat.
Completed projects
include genealogy, maps, music (CDs and scores), film (DVD
and VHS), audiobooks, serials, monographic cataloging as
well as union listing for journal holdings.
MLNC
provides full-level cataloging using tools and standards
that include AACR2 revised, MARC 21 Format for Bibliographic
Data, MARC 21 Format for Authority Data, Library of Congress
Subject Headings, Library of Congress or Dewey Decimal
classification and OCLC Bibliographic Formats and Standards.

MLNC is offering a consortium
discount for the ALA RDA Toolkit online. This offer is open
to both member and non-member institutions. RDA will be replacing AACR2 cataloging rules and "is the new
standard for resource description and access designed for
the digital world." This offer will be open in October 2010
and again in early 2011.
The discount MLNC can offer is based on the number of
subscriptions received. If 20 or more libraries subscribe,
the discount will be 10%. If 19 or fewer subscribe, the
discount will be 5%. MLNC is making this offer available to
libraries in many states, and we expect to reach the
20 subscription level. List prices may be found on the RDA

Licensing
- MLNC Members: MLNC will sign the RDA License
Agreement on behalf of member
institutions participating in the group purchase.
- Non-Members: A completed
License Agreement must be submitted with the MLNC
order form.

Web-based copy cataloging solution for small libraries. Participating libraries
retrieve and set holdings on bibliographic records from
WorldCat, the world's largest

WorldCat Cataloging Partners |
WorldCat Cataloging Partners is a collaborative effort with
materials vendors to reduce the cost of cataloging for libraries.
WorldCat Cataloging Partners will deliver OCLC MARC records that match the
materials you order through participating vendor partners and set your library's
holdings automatically in WorldCat. |

Experience the power of the Dewey Decimal Classification
(DDC) system on the Web! WebDewey gives you access to an enhanced version of
