MLNC Cataloging Services

MLNC Contract Cataloging MLNC offers contract cataloging services for libraries short of staff, expertise, or facing special projects or backlogs. Completed projects include maps, music (CDs and scores), videos, serials, monographic cataloging as well as union listing for journal holdings. Most often, cataloging is done on OCLC, using the institution's authorization and save file. Projects range from small, sporadic original cataloging for special libraries to large and ongoing commitments. We use existing MLNC staff, so cannot guarantee specific production dates. Fees are based on the requirements of the project. For more information, contact Elizabeth Madson (ext. 811).
