The mission of the Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC) is to
organize and deliver to its member libraries and other contracting
entities OCLC-based information services, related electronic services
and content, and training in the management and use of information.
Membership is required to obtain any "on-going" service from MLNC, such
as online reference databases. Membership
is not required for attendance at MLNC workshops or to use MLNC as your
OCLC billing partner.
Full member - $600
All privileges of Participant and Associate members, plus:
- Credit of $90 towards regularly offered workshops,
institution-specific training sessions, or consulting services such
as workflow analysis, financial management and event planning
- Full participation in MLNC governance and meetings
- Influence MLNC’s future by running for Board positions, serving
on committees and participating in other governance activities
- Access to the MLNC Netlibrary Professional Collection
Associate member - $175
All privileges of a participant library, plus:
- Workshop registration at the discounted member rate
- MLNC’s Custom Cataloging service
Participant - $125
- Enables a library to participate in the MLNC Cooperative
Purchasing/Electronic Resources Program (Library Supplier Discounts,
e-Resources)
MLNC is governed by an eleven member Board of Directors. The MLNC
Board provides input to the MLNC leadership in issues such as pricing,
new strategic directions, projects and staffing.
